The Oregon Zoo

The Oregon Zoo is located on 64 forested acres in Portland’s Washington Park. Home to more than 160 animal species, the zoo combines immersive exhibits with a strong focus on conservation, education, and animal care. Visitors can see everything from elephants and polar bears to red pandas and condors while learning about efforts to protect endangered wildlife. The zoo is especially recognized for its conservation programs, including work with California condors and other threatened species.
